As Franklin County Treasurer, Kevin Threlkeld will have two primary goals for the office, communication with Franklin Countians and activism to benefit Franklin Countians.

Kevin Threlkeld believes that the people deserve more information about where county dollars are invested and how much is in each fund. After all, it is the taxpayers’ money. Like their own savings account, Franklin Countians should be able to access a monthly statement of county funds. Kevin will communicate that information with a modern website. In addition, Kevin will communicate with Franklin Countians monthly by radio, just as he has done for years in state government. Kevin Threlkeld also believes that the county treasurer should work to benefit Franklin Countians beyond maximizing the investment returns of their tax dollars. His experience in state government, especially as a member of the Missouri House of Representatives Local Government Committee, has allowed Kevin to shape the laws that guide county functions. He will utilize that experience to work with the county commission on any special projects that would benefit the citizens of Franklin County. Kevin Threlkeld will be an activist for the people.
